The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) offers webinars to language professionals.  According to the website, "ACTFL webinars set a standard for high quality learning opportunities. They are designed to inspire and energize you to grow as a language professional. Led by educational experts, each series delivers new insights and proven techniques that you can use right away."ACTFL offers webinars on a variety of different topics of interest to faculty, students, and current teachers, and provides a rich archive of past webinars.

African Languages Initiative

African Languages InitiativeThe African Languages Initiative (AFLI) offers Boren Scholarship applicants the opportunity to study African languages and cultures by participating in domestic and overseas language programs in one of the below languages. Although domestic funding is not available as part of the Boren Scholarship, supplemental funding is available for undergraduate students participating in this initiative to study at the University of Florida, Gainesville during summer 2014.   African Languages Initiative ProgramsProgram InformationThe official domestic program is administered by the University of Florida, Gainesville, while the official overseas programs are administered by the American Councils for International Education.
